"Uncork a Wish" Wine Tasting and Auction

Launching in November, Season of Wishes® (SOW) is the Make-A-Wish Foundation's all-important five-week holiday campaign that publically shares the powerful impact of fulfilling a child's wish with the people of Greater Los Angeles. This year, a spectacular event - "Uncork a Wish" Wine Tasting and Auction - will be held at the height of the campaign to benefit our wish children.

This December 2nd holiday extravaganza at The Beverly Hilton, a major fundraiser for the local Make-A-Wish chapter, is designed to raise much-needed funds to grant over 375 wishes this year for very special children, between the ages of 2.5 and 18 years old, who are fighting life-threatening conditions. And, it's going to be an event unlike any other! Over 300 guests will enjoy a unique whimsical journey of gastronomic delights and wine tastings, wish making fun, unique live and silent auctions, and some very special surprises.

Hosted by EXTRA's Mario Lopez, proceeds from "Uncork a Wish" will support hundreds of heartfelt wishes which fall into one of four categories: I Wish To Go...I Wish To Meet...I Wish To Have...or I Wish To Be. At an average wish cost of $7,500, it's as momentous a challenge as the Foundation has ever had to face. We must do everything we can so no eligible child is ever denied a wish due to lack of funds.

For this very reason, the Foundation is partnering with blue-chip corporations, community leaders and supporters to make "Uncork a Wish" a wildly successful evening. We hope you will join us as a "Wish Visionary", Wish Maker", "Wish Granter" or "Wish Partner."
