Kids For Wish Kids & Wishmakers On CampusTo become involved in Kids For Wish Kids or Wishmakers on Campus, or or for information on how to get started planning a fundraiser, contact Brooke Dafesh at 310-788-9474. Kids For Wish Kids® This is a fun way for children and teenagers to be leaders in a "for kids by kids" type of fundraising program. Participants can be involved individually or through a school group or other club. Participants choose and plan their own fundraisers to raise money to grant the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions here in Los Angeles County. We've also had Bar/Bat Mitzvah students plan their mitzvah projects to help the Foundation. Wishmakers on Campus® This is an opportunity for college students to become leaders in philanthropy and fundraising. Interested students can start a club on campus to plan and execute fundraising events to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. This program enables participants to gain valuable leadership, planning, marketing, organization and teamwork skills that are invaluable when entering the "real world." Choose your own fundraiser Anything from a car wash or a bake sale to a dance marathon or a bowl-a-thon. It's up to you! For many more project ideas, download the Project Ideas Packet.
