New-Volunteer Orientation Schedule

For those wishing to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles as a volunteer, we require attendance at a New-Volunteer Orientation. Individuals who have submitted a Volunteer Application will be invited to each one-hour session for a year until they are able to attend.

Our New-Volunteer Orientation covers the history of the Foundation, the history of our chapter, our chapter's volunteer needs and opportunities, and next steps to becoming an official volunteer. We also discuss the requirements for other levels of volunteering once an individual has cleared the background check.

The invitation to attend a New-Volunteer Orientation will be e-mailed out to prospective volunteers after receipt of the completed Volunteer Application. We schedule orientations according to our volunteer needs. If you are waiting to attend one, we ask that you please be patient.
