Chandler, age 13I Wish to Have ... my comic book character, Brave Kid, brought to life ![]() Chandler loves comic books! When Chandler was in 2nd grade, he started drawing comic book characters. In 4th grade, he came up with his own superhero called Brave Kid. Brave Kid wears a yellow and black costume and has no cape. Chandler has thought of many stories for Brave Kid and has also created Brave Kid's archenemy, an evil scientist. One Christmas, Chandler received a comic book set, and he used it to write his first comic book. His wish was to have his comic book character brought to life! Mattel's Creative Design team worked together to give Chandler the most memorable wish experience possible. They planned everything down to the very last detail, and made Chandler feel incredibly special. Chandler and his family were given a tour of the Mattel Design Center and spoke with designers in all departments. Chandler discussed his ideas for Brave Kid and worked with artists to further develop his other characters and stories. At the end of the wish, the design team surprised us all by presenting Chandler with three Brave Kid action figures. Chandler had an awesome and inspiring experience!
