In his spare time, Alex enjoys watching movies, playing video games and drawing, so when he was asked to make his wish, he knew exactly what he wanted. Without hesitation, he wished for shopping spree to buy toys, a computer and more video games!

On the day of his wish, Alex, his family and wish team volunteers were picked up in a black stretch limo at Alex's home and taken to Wal-Mart, where they were greeted by a Wal-Mart personal shopper and photographer for the day. The employees at Wal-Mart gave Alex $1,000 to purchase anything he wanted from their store. They devoted all of their attention to Alex and made sure he got everything he wanted – tons of toys, a shiny new Spider-Man bike, a Nintendo DS, video games and a TV! After taking many pictures inside the store and with the employees, it was time to go to Best Buy for a laptop.

When the party arrived at Best Buy, Alex pulled out his handwritten list titled "Things to Buy." With such a detailed list, volunteers set out to look for all of the cool items Alex wanted. Of course, everyone headed over to the electronics department first, since that was where Alex was going to get his laptop! After picking up a laptop, he headed over to the video games section, where he picked out a Nintedo Wii and tons of Wii accessories. The entire entourage was exhausted after so much shopping, so it was only appropriate that the next stop was Chuck E. Cheese’s!

As soon as the limo pulled in front of the restaurant, Alex was greeted by Chuck E. Cheese himself! The family enjoyed pepperoni pizzas, buffalo wings, the salad bar, drinks, chocolate cake and the never-ending tokens! Alex was treated like a King – he was even given a King’s crown and a medallion! Finally, after eating, playing games and all that shopping, it was time to head home and open up all the great gifts Alex had purchased.
