We celebrate the joy of wishes coming true for courageous children like 4-year-old Ella, who is bravely battling a brain tumor. After her wish was granted in November, we received a note from Ella's mom, Stacee.
More than two years ago, Alessandra was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on her 16th birthday. Plans for a Sweet 16 were put aside as she began nearly two years of treatments.
Dawn and I met with Destiny on Saturday to see her photos and hear about her trip. Destiny and her Mom and friend Carlia had an amazing time in Germany and said that the Make-A-Wish staff was fabulous. They were greeted at the Munich airport with a huge sign and also each received a traditional German welcome of a personalized cookie that hangs around your neck welcoming them to Germany.

Once upon a short time ago, a chariot with twelve mighty horses came in the form of a limousine to await Princess Josselyn at her temporary castle (Children's Hospital). We, her loyal subjects awaited the Princess along with the town criers (the press). Finally, the moment arrived and Princess Josselyn came down from her noble castle and graced us with her beautiful smile.
Ryan was just diagnosed in December 2009 with Leukemia. He turned 16 years old this summer on August 13th. The past 8 months have been extremely tough for Ryan and his family, especially for Ryan who has undergone many rounds of chemotherapy.
