For more information, visit www.ekmgt.com The Idea behind the Tournament In December 2000, Todd Keller lost his mom (a non-smoker) to lung cancer, and he found himself unprepared for the first Mother's Day after her death. Since the Make-A-Wish Foundation was one of her favorite charities, he made the commitment to honor her memory every year with this charity golf tournament. The past eight years this tournament has generated over $100,000 for the Greater Los Angeles chapter. This translates into granting the wishes of approximately 13 children in the Los Angeles community, and we hope that you can join Todd and his friends and family for a great day at one of California's best golf courses raising money for the children that we serve in tribute to Eileen. Last year the proceeds supported that of 15 year-old Chantz (pictured above) who wished to travel to Alaska during his summer break. Chantz's trip allowed him to relax and escape from his treatments for acute lymphatic leukemia. This year they aim to grant another child's wish and your help is instrumental in enabling them to achieve that goal. |
