Amy Shomer

A woman of enormous talent, Amy Shomer has played a seminal role in producing several of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles' largest fundraisers, Uncork A Wish and Wish Night. Amy directs the stage, lighting, sound and audio-visual content, ensuring all of the various technical elements of an event run smoothly.

Amy is also a phenomenal wish granter, having fulfilled the dream of 18-year-old Karen, who wished to be a model for a day. After hearing about Karen's wish request, Amy volunteered to put together an unforgettable experience for Karen, reaching out to friends and colleagues to assemble a back-to-back schedule befitting a model, including runway coaching, voice lessons and a dinner at Spago. "Wishes provide sick children with a moment in time that is a huge boost to their self-esteem and quality of life," said Amy. "The experience they receive can shape their life in a positive way like no other and that is what we intended to do for Karen and her family."
