Training and Requirements

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles Volunteer and Intern Requirements

All volunteers and interns must be at least 18 years of age and have the following to be considered "official" or "active" and receive volunteer opportunities:

1. Volunteer Application
2. New-Volunteer Orientation
3. Signed Conflict of Interest/Ethics Agreement (annual) 
4. Cleared Background Check

Our New-Volunteer Orientation covers much of the information we feel our active volunteers need to know. We discuss our chapter's volunteer needs and opportunities, as well as the requirements for other levels of volunteering once official.
